Covid-19 Update

 November 2020

From Pastor’s Desk

Dear Faith Baptist Church Family,

Because of a few positive tests for COVID-19 and possible exposure this past Sunday, we are making some changes to our services for this coming Sunday, November 1st and Wednesday, November 4th.

As of right now, we are still planning on “in person” services, but we do want to discourage those who are “high risk” not to attend.

Also, we are still hosting Church Planter Ted Alexander on Sunday. He will be presenting his ministry in Sunday School, preaching the morning service, and doing Baptist History in the evening service. All services will be live-streamed, including Sunday School.

The following changes will be made to our services this Sunday, November 1st:

  • No Men’s Prayer
  • No Buses

Sunday School:

  • All children’s Sunday School classes will be combined into one class.
  • The teen class and both adult classes will be combined in the sanctuary.

Sunday AM Service:

  • Ted Alexander will be preaching.
  • There will be Junior Church in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday PM Service:

  • No 6pm Bible Study.
  • Regular service at 6:30pm.
  • Ted Alexander will be preaching Baptist History.

Wednesday night service, November 4:

  • No Buses
  • There will be a combined kid’s class.
  • Teens and adults will meet in the sanctuary for regular services.

(Nursery will be available for all services.)

Lord willing, we will get through this week and return back to our normal services. If you still plan on attending both services, I do want to encourage you to take this situation seriously and practice the CDC protocols. Social distancing. Wear a mask if you feel you need one. Wash your hands frequently. And if you have any symptoms whatsoever, please stay home and go get tested.

If you any questions regarding the changes, please contact me or Bro. Eric. We will do our best to answer your questions. Continue to pray for one another. The Lord knows.

In Christ,

Pastor Wes Stewart
